Confessions...

I have some silly obsessions and will periodically reveal them. After I know that the few people who read this are hooked and wont leave when you find out all of my deep dark secrets.
I love dance.

Mostly watching it because I'm not really that good of a dancer. I would like to blame my lack of skill on my inability to follow. Probably because whenever I learned partner dances at mutual(church activities for youth), school, pretty much anywhere I had to be the boy. Shocker, NO. There are never enough boys and I must be tall for a girl. So I can dance okay as long as I get to dance by myself, i.e. line dancing, or be the guy.
I think my obsession with dance started at a young age. I had a huge crush on Patrick Swayze, in Dirty Dancing. (Side note-This is not a kid friendly movie, so I am not sure why I was watching it) My crushes have changed as movies evolved...Douglas Dorsey in the Cutting Edge, Channing Tatum in the Step Up, Zac Efron in Hairspray.

Since my gift isn't to dance I guess I will settle with the gift to love it.

Dreaming Completed

The life of a dreamer can be very busy, since I spend half of my day in what some would call "La-La Land". I get to spend the other half accomplishing the everyday task we call mundane. Personally I like cleaning, call me crazy I know. But I feel a huge sense of accomplishment when my toilet sparkles like it has never been used, or when my laundry basket is empty, I even like the lines the vacuum makes on the carpet. (Shh, don't tell this to my mommy.)
Back on topic. I have been dreaming a lot this week about this sweet secret project I am working on. Don't worry you will find out sooner or later. When spending my time grounded and not with my head in the cloud I have managed to sew up a storm. Heather(roommate) keeps asking me what I am making now....
Applauds and Drum Roll Start now.

Featuring my new purse

Yard Sale Fabric purse

Tiffany "Wedding" Apron

I was really nervous about the fabrics matching.
I love how it turned out. The orange floral fabric is super cute.

I am in the process of making more camera cases, (Paula I am almost done with yours), 2 gathered clutches and another purse.

My sweet secret project is coming along smoothly too.

Motto...

I've decided I need a motto, a creed, just a little something to repeat daily to remind me that in order to make my dreams come true I have to be active. I got this from one of the photography sites I stalk...

"Jump in over your head and swim to the top."

Excited for fall can you tell.
