Honeymoon

Seattle. Since we were having an open house in Portland we decided to take the week off prior to that and go somewhere close and then just end up at Mom and Dad's. Neither one of us have ever been to Seattle so what a fun place to go. 

How I grew up in Portland/Kalama and never went to Seattle I have no idea? Especially now after being there. I would have made a road trip up at least once a year. I love Pike's Market and the Space Needle.  We even stopped at the Seattle Temple for a session.

Ice cream anyone?

So Keaton and I have a few things in common but ice cream tops the list.

Look at that happy face. Not only does he like ice cream but chocolate is his favorite. 

Chocolate ice cream all over his new shark shirt. Yes Cody, it stains. ;)

After our tasty ice cream cones we headed over to the MK Nature Center for a walk. It was perfect. Beautiful flowers, huge fish. lots of fun and adventure...a little boys favorite thing.

It was a perfect picnic, and a perfect day. Even have the stains to prove it.

In the beginning...

Since this is the first blog post I feel like it should be more profound or just really "WOW". Sorry, it just going to be a little bit of me.

After being married for one month I can honestly say that being married is amazing. I got that word from Cody. True story-before we were even really good friend my roommate and I nicknamed him Captain Amazing. You know how girls give people nickname so they wont know were are talking about them, that is what we did. It didn't last long until, logically he would be named Captain Amazing. Turns out it was such a good code word.

Life is truly amazing. I love living life as a wife, mother and best friend. I love you handsome!!!
