In the beginning...

Since this is the first blog post I feel like it should be more profound or just really "WOW". Sorry, it just going to be a little bit of me.

After being married for one month I can honestly say that being married is amazing. I got that word from Cody. True story-before we were even really good friend my roommate and I nicknamed him Captain Amazing. You know how girls give people nickname so they wont know were are talking about them, that is what we did. It didn't last long until, logically he would be named Captain Amazing. Turns out it was such a good code word.

Life is truly amazing. I love living life as a wife, mother and best friend. I love you handsome!!!

Finally Mrs. Peterson...YAY!!!!

I'm getting married...

I am sure that the people that read this blog already know that I am getting married
but I want to tell the world anyways...
On April 11, 2011, Captain Amazing got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
After at least 100, "Oh, my gosh" I finally gave the clearly implied answer of YES!!!!!
It was a beautiful night and I know it is going to be a beautiful life.

Obsessions...ZOOS!!!

Code. I love the Zoo! Code. I love the Zoo a lot. Code. I went to the zoo.
Hopefully you have seen Mega Minds. If not you need to, it rocks. Code. It's amazing.

The weekend that of my cousin, Liz's wedding. Captain Amazing and I traveled to the Utah. Code. The Land of Milk and Honey. (ok, I'm done with the code thing.)

We took a few extra days to visit my nephew Simon. While down in SLC we also went to In and Out, Chick-fil-a, and the Hogle Zoo. It was a great trip.

Honestly compared to the Oregon Zoo I was a little disappointed but it was still great. I was within 5 ft of a giraffe. Captain Amazing and I rode a train to. Basically it was great.

Wedding Fun...

My adorable cousin Liz got married to Chris on March 12 in St. George, UT. What a beautiful day. My favorite thing about wedding is the details, and their wedding didn't disappoint. Simple and elegant-Liz you looked beautiful.

McCall Winter Carnival

This is my 3rd attempt at blogging since my last post. 3rd times a charm, right?

The last month has been incredible.
Filled with a lot of holiday festivities, fun adventures and Captain Amazing.

To round out the month of January Captain Amazing, Stephanie, and I
went to the McCall Winter Carnival. This event has been going on for many years and features giant snow sculptures, a parade, concerts, fair food, basically a week of partying. I really just wanted to see the snow sculptures but turns out McCall is beautiful this time of year.
